The arrival of a mid-engine Corvette in 2020 was a rather seismic event after decades of speculation. The E-Ray version joined the Chevrolet Corvette lineup in 2024, adding more to the recipe that now includes all-wheel-drive, a hybrid powertrain, and standard all-season tires. Like its standard version, the Corvette E-Ray is available in both coupe and convertible options with a power-folding hardtop. It’s equipped with a turbocharged, eight-cylinder, 6.2-litre petrol engine that produces 495 PS/637 Nm. The motor is mated to an eight-speed automatic. The Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray’s cabin gets optional leather, imitation suede, and metal or carbon-fiber upholstery.

It was a dream to own this car

A Chevvy Corvette has changed a lot over the years, and for an automobile fanatic like me, owning one was one of the top dreams of my life. I got this car last year, and I am sort of upset now because there’s a new model that is probably going to launch this year or next year. However, the one-year-old model is not in any way less than perfect. This car is stupidly fast, and it drives really well. The car is built pretty well, and it has a rocket-like quality. This is a novelty purchase; I only take it out once a month, so it really is more of a show piece than one you can actually drive around.
